Titles- Individual Task

Whilst in the act of watching the opening sequence of the teen-film Heathers, I observed and also analysed the key titles which are in the opening sequence. 

As I analysed the titles, I observed the following things:

• The Production company comes at the beginning of the film to receive recognition for there identity
• Title comes either at the beginning of the end of the sequence
• Actors names are in order of popularity or fame
• Actors who come in two's or threes are less important than the other actors 
• occationally crew are also introduced within the opening sequence.  

What are titles important?
In films titles are extremely important due to the fact that we are able to put to recognition for example the Producers of the film, the cast, star actors, etc. Another reason why titles are important in films is because it allows the audience to give recognition to the titles. For example if a Teen film starred 'Brad Pitt' the audience are more intrigued to watch the teen-film so in this case titles generate interest for the specific target audience
