As we were so focused on the mise-en-scene and the costumes of our 4 main characters, The Princess, The Jock, The Nerd and The Criminal, we didn't really focus on the other characters that appear only breifly in our opening sequence as they are not the main focus. I would have changed this, just to make it more clear to the audience who is who.
For example, I played the teacher and although it's made clear through the location, eg the board behind me, the concept of the whole teen film and the speech, it would have been made even clearer if I had worn some more formal clothing. Luckily, I didn't wear anything that teacher's definitley wouldn't wear, and the outfit I wore is believeable however, I would have put on something more formal eg a black jumper and a blazer etc.
This is the same for the shopkeeper, as the shopkeeper we used wore all black. This is slightly contradicting as the criminal is in all black aswell, and if the audience does not pay great attention, they may think that something completely different is going on, eg that the criminal owes the other criminal money. Looking back, I would have made the shopkeeper wear a cap or something that shows they are the shop keeper.
