Changes made to the project of pitch feedback -Unfinished

Objective: my objective is to analyse and state the feed back in which our teacher Dan gave to us to improve our teen film.

On the 5th of February group 21 (us) pitched their ideas for our teen film.  With all the positive feedback, their was also objectives what Dan set for us to act upon to improve our film.

One of the few ways Dan suggested for us to improve our teen film was to make sure that our mise-en scene (specially costume) was strong so that it is easier to portray the characters stereotypes. Dan also quoted the weakest character which needs time and effort to put back together was 'The Jock's' costume.

For the Jock's costume we used a black, grey and white with the number 3 on .It Also had a matching snap back to match the jacket which was the colours black and white. Although this conveyed the stereotypical image of a jock we though as a group that as a jock we need more colours in order to represent the jocks swag and popularity.

Pros and Cons of the Jock's outfit:
Pros:
  • Has the stereotypical image of a Jock e.g. Baseball jacket (represents sporty character) New era hat (represents his swagger)
Cons:
  • colours are too dull for a Jock
  • No colours of a stereotypical Jock is represented through the costume
  • Mes-en scene isn't so strong due to the fact that no primary colours are used for a Jock
  • Not exaggerated

This is an image of a Jock which we tried to convey for our teen film. We believed that it was more realistic and more exaggerated therefore we decided to go for this one .
