Interview on what we have so far (1)

I showed a friend of mine, (R), what we have editted so far to see what she thinks about our teen film. Also, to see what we could change or improve to better our opening sequence. I wrote down the interview because she did not wish to be filmed.

Me: So, what do you think of our teen film opening so far?
R: Yeah... it's good.

Me: What do you like about it?
R: It looks funny and I can really see the potential in it.

Me: Anything else?
R: It's relateable because they're all teenagers. And everyone can fit into one of the teenage stereotypes. Well teenagers.

Me: What stereotype do you think you're in?
R: Um... I think I would be between the princess and the nerd. And the criminal.

Me: So is there anything you don't like about it?
R: Well... are you going to add music to it? Because it would be better with music.

Me: Yes, we are planning to add music. It's just because we haven't finished it yet. Do you have any suggestions for what music we should add?
R: Um... for the theme of the movie I think it should definitley be something kind of... rock. Like, not heavy metal or anything but you know the song they have in mean girls [previous blog of the songs in Mean Girls http://titles14group21.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/research-music-sound.html]. Like a mix of rock and pop or hip'hop. Something catchy.

Me: Okay. Anything else that you dislike or think we should change?
R: Well some of the scenes are kind of long. It's not necassarily a bad thing but you said it has to be a max of 2mins30seconds and I think you could definitley save some seconds if you just cut some scenes down.
