Feedback on pitch

Overall we were told that our pitch idea of our teen film opening was good. However we were advised to carefully think of the mise en scene that we will use.We have to plan this thoroughly so that each characters personality and look is emphasised enough so the audience can automatically identify what type of characters they are viewing.
For example:This can be done by using obvious props for each characters costume e.g the ner dwill have to wear smart clothes wearing glasses and possibly holding aload of books.Another mis en scene that we could include is body language so for the geek he will be walking at a fast pace in order arrive at the summer club earlier than everybody else.
This picture above demonstrates how much we have to emphasise our characters using mis en scene with costume and propsthis is because it ables the audience to diffrentiate the different characters.

This image above is a photo from the film camp rock. This film inspired us in our own teen film opening as it presents a great deal of partenership and new friends meeting which is what we want to present in our own film opening.we will be using a different range of characters that are different and who are also recognised to society espeically within school life. Our plan is for them to be placed in the same group as eachother to work together and present funny obstacles on the way.

However,Dan did give us some feedback about our plan set in a summer camp and he advised us that we should keep it simple and that our opening would still work out if we just kept it at a high school.
however he have decided to carry on with this idea as we believe it will be more interesting than a high school setting.
