Stereotypical teen film characters.

As i have already explained the importance for high detail in costuming to clearly represent the difference between the characters.As i have watched many teen film movies over the past such as Not another teen movie,Mean girls and American pie.These films all conveyed great use of mis en scene such and props costumes and body language.all three features were presented in all three films allowing us to identify as the audience which types of characters that we are watching.This is important to make the audience fully aware of this otherwise the film could be misconceived of the humor that is being demonstrated.         THE CRIMINAL      

Here is the bully/criminal who plays in kidulthood.The use of dark/hooded clothing present the anti subcultures that lies in the deprived east London area,Hackney.In our teen film opening our criminal was dressed in all black clothes also wearing a hood and trainers to present this urban look.
THE NERD

This is a good demonstration of detailed costuming.we automatically know from the bold round glasses and his shirt and blazer that he is acting the role of the nerd.Along with the brilliant use of body language he produces throughout Austin powers gives us a clear understanding of his status in the film.
THE PRINCESS

This is the princess from the breakfast club.who has correctly proved herself to be the princess throughout the film.from her spoilt attitude to her costume.Her clothes were also presented as clean and vintage showing that she cares a great deal on her style.
THE JOCK

s in not another teen movie.i believe that we have replicated this image of the jock quite well in our own teen opening.As the costumes are very similar and also simple but give off an obvious profile about the characters.
